Aron’s are corporate and event caterers based in Bristol. Our fully equipped and licensed premises in Redland can also be hired for events and pop ups. Our deli food is inspired by the culinary traditions of the New York Deli and Eastern Europe.
Everything is cooked, baked and cured on the premises by proprietors Marta Aron and Steve Varcoe, formerly the owners of the critically acclaimed Aron’s Jewish Delicatessen.
We cater for all types of events from small working lunches to large conferences for hundreds of people. Private parties, receptions, birthdays, we can cater to the specific requirements of your event.
Please check the menu for sandwich and deli platters or call to discuss your event catering requirements.
The New York or Jewish Deli exemplified by Katz’s Deli in New York City, is a cafeteria / shop serving Jewish food. Delis were once commonplace in NYC and were established to cater for the 2 million Ashkenazi Jews who emigrated to the USA from Eastern Europe between 1880 and 1914. Deli food is a hybrid of North American, Eastern European and primarily Jewish traditions.
Our food is Jewish but it is NOT KOSHER. Kosher is a way of preparing food under the supervision of a Jewish religious authority to ensure that it conforms to certain prescribed standards and can be consumed by practising Jews. Pizza, chow mein and burritos can all be kosher!
Aron’s is one of the only businesses in the UK that specialises in making traditional deli food. Our food is produced from authentic recipes and the best quality locally sourced ingredients. We are fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best food producers in the UK and we exploit this opportunity as much as possible.
We bake all our own bread and cakes. Make our pickles with local cider vinegar. Our celebrated Somerset salt beef is also made on the premises and takes more than a month to produce.
We are very happy to work with the following suppliers:

Homewood Cheeses, Ubley. Fresh ewe’s cheese.
